High Purity RO-EDI for process water
Pure Water Technology builds complete turnkey reverse osmosis electro-deionization systems (RO-EDI).
Reverse osmosis is employed to purify tap water to 98% pure. The RO water is then fed through an EDI module that will polish the water up a resistivity of 16-17 meg ohm. EDI modules are compact devices that use DC current to continually regenerate themselves.
RO-EDI systems require little to no maintenance and are a more cost effective and a convenient alternative to portable exchange DI tanks. RO-EDI systems are skid mounted can be shipped anywhere and easily connected onsite through pre-plumbed 4 bolt flanges.

Ultra-Violet (UV) Light for disinfection and sanitizing
Ultraviolet light is a highly effective method of disinfection and sanitization of water. The 254 nm wavelength is used for this purpose.
254nm UV passes through a microorganism’s cell body and alters its DNA, thus rendering it unable to reproduce.
254nm UV is employed to control bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms. 185 nm UV light is used to destroy total organic carbons (TOC).
High Purity Laboratory RO-DI Systems
Pure Water Technology builds wall mount high purity laboratory systems. These compact systems employ reverse osmosis (RO) as pretreatment to purify tap water to 98% pure. The reverse osmosis water is then stored in a pressurized holding tank.
When there is demand for ultra-pure deionized (DI) water, the RO water is automatically dispensed from the storage tank and travels through a bank of mixed bed resin DI cartridges receiving a final polish. RO-DI systems can produce water up to the maximum possible purity of 18.2 meg ohm.
Pure Water Technology also has the capability to build USP 643/645 US Pharmacopeia water systems. Again, RO is used to purify tap water to 98% pure and stored in a holding tank or recirculating loop until there is demand for DI water.
Our USP RO-DI systems have integrated monitoring for conductivity and TOC in parts per billion.
